Prettau bridges are much more stable and actually form a supporting structure that minimizes any movement and stress on the implants.
Zirconia Bridges are more comfortable than other dental implant-supported solutions.
Zirconia offers high compatibility with the human body. The material is metal-free and boasts a biocompatible composition that can be well-tolerated by even patients with the highest levels of sensitivity.
Zirconia is stronger and much more durable than acrylic. You may never need repairs or maintenance, so it actually saves you money over time.

Prettau Zirconia Bridge in Mexico requires 2 visits to Cancun. The shortest time frame is about 5 months in the lower jaw and 7 months in the upper jaw. This includes surgeries and the placement of the denture.
However, the process can last a year or more, especially if you need Bone Grafting or other preliminary procedures. Depending upon the health of the structures of soft and hard tissues in the mouth, one of two surgery approaches will be used:
The Prettau Zirconia Bridge is designed and manufactured in our in-House Laboratory using CAD/CAM Technology (Computer-Aided Design / Computer-Aided Milling), ensuring a precise fit. The advantage of this restoration is that Zirconia is very durable, so there are no worries about the bridge chipping or cracking on you. The Bridge sits on your gum line and has no palate.
To achieve true to natural aesthetics we use pink porcelain to represent the gingiva and in some cases put a thin layer of porcelain along with glaze and stain techniques applied by our Ceramicists.

Smoking and dental implants don’t go together. Smoking Is The Main Factor For Dental Implant Failure? We know smoking can be difficult to quit but we insist that patients stop smoking at least three weeks before their dental implants.
On unusual occasions, we would ask you to stop smoking sooner, because it can interfere with your recovery, by reducing blood flow, which may prevent the incision from healing. We Highly Recommend You Quit Smoking Once You Commit To Your Dental Treatment.
Before surgery (three weeks)
We know you will be on vacation and the all-inclusive bar might be tempting. You must stay away from any alcoholic beverage for a minimum of five days before your procedure. Standards of good oral hygiene are critical for the success and functionality of the implants and restoration. The best way to prevent infection and ensure healing is to keep your mouth clean. Clean your mouth thoroughly after each meal beginning the day after surgery.
Use a soft-bristle toothbrush and toothpaste after meals and at bedtime. The use of a dental Waterpik is highly recommended to irrigate underneath the denture to flush out debris.
After a dental implant surgery is normally pink or blood-tinged saliva for two or three days and does not indicate any problem, even minimal bleeding is expected. In this case, the best way to stop it is by placing a damp piece of gauze and softly biting for 30 minutes while rest keeping your head elevated.
In case the bleeding continues, repeat the gauze step for an additional 30 minutes. The suture material may last from two to three weeks, and you should not pull or cut the sutures by yourself.
After any surgery, swelling is a normal reaction of the body and the first step to healing. In the beginning, swelling will not become visible until 24 hours after your dental implant surgery, and couldn’t reach its peak for two or three days. After this period, the swelling decreases but may persist from seven to 10 days.
You can minimize swelling by applying immediate ice packs to the outside of the face for 20 minutes on, and then 20 minutes off while awake for the first 24 hours.
First of all, remember that all medications must be prescribed and should not exceed the recommended dosage. Because most oral surgery is followed by some amount of discomfort, the surgeon may suggest taking any anti-inflammatory, non-steroidal medication (only if YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC to it), before the local anesthetic wears off.
In case of intense pain, you should require calm pain medication under prescription, which will cause you to feel drowsy, so you shall not operate any mechanical machinery or drive while taking the prescription. About the post-operative antibiotics, they must be taken as directed and the entire course of the prescription.
For the first weeks after your dental implant surgery, you could also be prescribed an antibacterial mouth rinse which must be used two times a day.
We suggest starting with liquids, after a general anesthetic or conscious IV sedation, and must avoid hot meals or hot liquids while numb. The limited food intake that is required for the first days could be compensated by increasing the fluid intake, with high protein shakes to replace meal supplements.
For the first six weeks you must follow a soft chew diet, so if you cannot cut easily any food, please avoid eating it.
8 hours after your dental implant surgery
For the first 48 hours after your dental implant surgery, you must rest and relax without any physical activity. After these 48 hours, you should resume activity as tolerated.

When numbness is gone you can increase diet as tolerated by adding soft food

This is a non-metal high-quality ceramic material that is used to make some of the most durable and natural-looking dental restorations. Zirconia or Zirconium Dioxide is a non-porous material that exhibits the characteristic of both ceramic and metal it is stain-resistant and does not absorb odors.
Zirconia is the strongest available denture material, and it can be made to look indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Even though acrylic is lighter and less expensive, It is also a material that stains easily. PFM is 1 of the oldest methods of restoration. Due to the difference in strength between the porcelain and metal, it is known to chip after time.
Eventually, the metal starts to show through leaving a discolored look. Eventually, the metal starts to show through leaving a discolored look. Zirconia is exceptionally strong; a study of over 4 years surveying 110 patients shows a 99.8 success rate.
To maintain a Zirconia Superstructure is recommended to treat them as your own natural teeth. You must brush them daily and visit your local dentist for regular check-ups. They will remove the superstructure to clean any hard-to-reach areas. These measures will ensure you the superstructure lasts you a lifetime.
To restore your surgical placed titanium implants with a 4-year warranty on your Prettau Zirconia Bridge a cost of as little as $6,400 USD per arch is all that is needed to complete and restore your smile.
To complete your restoration stage successfully a 10 – 14 day stay is recommended.
Keep in mind that you will only pay for the work that is completed on each trip. It is not necessary to pay for the entire treatment on your first visit. This will help you save enough to have your Zirconia superstructure fitted and still enjoy your stay while in Cancun.
To ensure the success of your Zirconia superstructure and the stability of the implants, during the Osseo-integration stage you will have healing dentures to wear. As the superstructure is strong in weight and character is not recommended to place them on implants that have been recently placed.
As this is the final stage of your dental treatment, the painful part is over. You may experience a little discomfort once the abutments and the superstructure are placed, however in a short amount of time this discomfort will not be felt as you get used to your new full set of fixed and functional teeth.
Fixed Hybrid Dentures are an ideal solution to Implant Supported Dentures. These Dentures can be used with as few as 4 Implants, keeping in mind that the more Implants the patient has, the better stability and load distribution the denture will have.
These final Dentures are made for a patient on the restorative phase of the Implant process, once the Implants have been osseointegrated properly.
With the Snap-on Denture, a patient will have the advantage of having a Fixed Restoration that they are able to give maintenance to themselves. Meaning no need for visits to the Dentist for periodic denture cleanings. Snap-on Dentures are used with a ball and housing concept.
